It seats a driver, an officer SCBA seat, and four SCBA seats. Engine 243 is equipped with two attack lines. It has front and side suction. It responds second due to all fire alarms, reported fires, and other engine emergencies in the Erskine/Cupsaw area of town. It is also our mutual aid truck. It houses 5 inch supply lines. It carries 500 gallons of water.
