Police arrived on scene to report multiple injuries and entrapment. Chief 240 requested the dispatch of all three fire companies to assist and arrived on scene to confirm one trapped. Rescue Squad 242 arrived and performed a full side wall removal of the driver’s side. Engine 241 arrived on scene and assisted with the side wall removal and patient care. Tanker 262 arrived on scene and stretched a foam line for protection. Rescue 253 also assisted in the extrication. Three medevac helicopters were called and a landing zone secured by Engine 252 and Chief 250. Due to the weather, only one helicopter was able to land. The rest of the patients were transported by Ringwood Ambulance Corp and the Wanaque First Aid Squad to Morristown Memorial Hospital with Chilton ALS.
