This is a 165 hour class that teaches recruits various skills they will need to be a firefighter. They then must complete a practical test and a written test. Certifications they will obtain are CPR, ICS 100 and 200, NIMS 700, Hazmat Awareness and Terrorism awarenessWhat if I live outside of town?Erskine Lakes Fire Company is always looking for members, however, due to responses, we are only seeking residents that live in Ringwood.Do I have to become a firefighter? There are many different options you can do to help out the Erskine Lakes Fire Company.
